How can you even come close to deny Leo the S.O.T.Y. for 2010….yup, you can’t. Emerica Stay Gold and Toy Machine’s Brainwash part’s are both monumental. Everybody Loves Leo, right? I have never seen Leo quit, no matter what tour, demo or event I have done with him. He is running on a full tank at all times and doesn’t just let his video parts speak for themselves, every demo he kills himself, I don’t think I could show you a better example than this. Here’s Leo justa couple of days ago in Australia with the RVCA team.

Not to mention a collage of just some of the bangers he had this year alone.

Keep it up Leo!

What If?

It’s been so long since I have seen these Nike commercials. These were created around the time when Nike tried to first step into the skate game and failed miserably. It looks like they had their marketing on point, (As if you would expect anything less from Nike.) but the shoes were just horrible. This time around of course with the Nike SB line and team they have backing it, it’s a different story.

These older commercials are perfect because they are timeless! No matter how many skateparks are built, we still need to fill the need to skate legit street spots. By my house there’s a skatepark that closes at 9 p.m. and forces you to wear helmets and elbow pads and is monitored by a security guard at all times, but yet right next door is a baseball field where softball and baseball games go on until 10 p.m. and a cop could care less what they are doing or if they are wearing protection. Funny thing is I can guarantee 90% of the softball players have a six pack stashed away somewhere on the field, but yet skateboarders are the ones that get harassed. How does that make any sense?
