Yep, that’s right. “Surfing” and “NYC” in the same sentence! People still flip out when I tell them I surf in NYC. For the past two  and a half years I’ve been paddling out in Far Rockaway Queens catching some nice lefts (mind you I hate going left because I’m regular stance). Junp on the A train from Utica ave in Bed-Stuy straight to the beach. A 30 minute ride worth taking and lugging the board in the hood. Check out this video my homie Dana Kinlaw made this video. And yeah I still suck at surfing! give me another year and I’ll be making turns!

Was kicking it the hood with Romain DeMarchi and Trevor Andrew last weekend checking out the latest video from the Yes Snowboards down in Chile. They Some real syck ass lefts barreling at a secret Surf spot that we can’t drop the location. During the trip they got to see first hand the damage the February 2010 earthquake left behind. Romain told me that part of the trip was about raising funds and awareness for the Save The Waves Project which protects surf spots and marine life from development. Sit back and enjoy the video and peep the perfect barrels, and the crew bugging out in Chile.
