Julian Berman is a 19-year-old photographer working and living in Los Angeles, California. A native Angeleno, Berman’s lens is in lockstep with the uniqueness and diversity the city offers, particularity the thriving street culture of Fairfax Village and the resurging Southern California Hardcore scene.

With shops like HUF, Supreme, Diamond, The Hundreds, Flight Club and Hall Of Fame all within the block between Rosewood Avenue and Oakwood Avenue, Fairfax Village has become a popular playground for the young and creative. Berman documents the skateboarders, retailers and artists there including his friends from LA-based Hip-Hop act, Odd Future. Berman also covers the LA Hardcore scene extensively and shoots with bands including Ceremony, Soul Search and Rotting Out.
