.45 Point Blank – Gregory Bojorquez
Teo grew up skating around Fairfax and Melrose in the mid 90s. We’re from the same hood so we skated a lot together. He’s an architect now. We skated my pal’s miniramp in the Larchmont Village area. After, Teo said he knew some dude who drinks at the Power House, who’s having a photo show at Hardhitta Gallery on Wilshire. We went and I was kind of shocked at some of the images. I guess I had no idea what to expect. Apparently, the photog guy captured that unfortunate shooting on Sunset Blvd and Cahuenga. His photo ended up on the cover of the LA Times. I saw Chaz Bojorquez there, and I’m not sure if there’s any relation. We ran into Wally and his entourage as Wally is featured in one of the collage pieces.
