Maker of yummy sweet teas, Brisk has been having some cool cultural events. They usually involve art, drinks, music, food and an interesting mix of folks. Their Day of the Dead Celebration was no different. They had the taco truck going, the Dia de los Muertes face painting, dope art and all that. After a few drinks I wandered outside and saw some some little dude with a big skull on top of his head and torso, which seemed fitting. I took some pics for yall to peep. Shout out to Vyal and Bonks.

Dark Side VS Light Side Art Opening

To me, Star Wars means a lot. It’s philosophies have shaped and molded my mind from the time I was 3. I like music as well. To me Just Blaze is one of the craftiest producers in the game. I also like refreshing lemonade, either by itself, or mixed with vodka. So suffice to say, I had a great time at the Brisk / Star Wars event. There was a complementary food truck that was serving Star Wars-inspired hot dogs outside and in the main room there was a wall lined with cool Star Wars-inspired art from the likes of Pose, Eye One, Tristan Eaton and others. It was rather crowded, so I couldn’t really get any good pics of the art. I even tried using the Force to clear the way, but, to no avail. When I got there, DJ Skee was spinning some weird, like, electro stuff (might’ve been dubstep?), but, as soon as Just Blaze hopped on, he destroyed the thirsty crowd with all Just Blaze bangers for the first 20 minutes or so. It was amazing. He then proceeded to flex his party-rocking skills and proved to be a true master of his craft.
