SP ONE and HAZE

“Two burners in the hood, we call it double features”. I think that was a line from some old Ghost Face joint. But, yeah, there was a double feature of sorts at Known over the weekend. Two fresh, OG cats. Haze is ill because he’s just a historical dude who’s done like, monumental graphics, that I can like and respect. Haze had his stuff all up in the main room and it was definitely on some new mathematical schematics. SP One (Greg Lamarche) is a straight-up letter beast / master. This dude is like, computer-like when it comes his plethora of traditional, funky styles. I remember when I saw that Mass Appeal cover he did, I sweated that shit major-ly. I still have that issue, too. SP had the back room, where he flexed his letter skills with a sharpie or something, right on the fucking wall. It was amazing. You should go look at it.
