Remy Martin XO X FM Event
Last week Remy Martin and Far East Movement joined forces and held a sleek event at some warehouse/ studio type space in DTLA. I arrived a tad early, and somehow ended up hovering about one of the two bars they had set up. I was curious about the drink menu, as I have never really had a mixed yak-based drink. I demanded a drink, and the bartender happily obliged. I came to find out I was literally the first drink requester of the night. Anyhow, the bar was stocked with freshly chopped, fruits and other cool looking juices, so I drank my drink and was pleased by it’s refreshing quality. I realized though, my palette is conservative, and I opted for the classic off-menu item… XO on the rocks. As far as Far East Movement, these guys have come a long way from when they first started a long ass time ago. They got their whole look and sound pretty finely tuned and they performed their latest joint, “Jello” as the XO-fueled crowd partied into the night.
