Last week was the start of the snowboard season in France with the classic opening of Les 2 Alpes. We stayed there for 1 week with a BangingBees crew and filmed this edit that could be considered like a who’s who of the french snowboard scene. Blue bird sky every day, good parks and good riders, that’s a good recipe !

We teamed up with Nokia Pureviews to produce a video for the begining of the snowboard season. We started filming at the Rock On Snowboard Tour in Val Thorens, then went to the glacier of Les Diablerets in Switzerland where the park was already set up. The main riders are Victor Daviet and Julien Rochette and it featured a lot of good french and swiss guests. The editing is made by Jon Vital, ex director of the Ero One movies. And last but not least, it’s entirely shot with a smartphone, the Nokia Lumia 1020 !

The Rock On Snowboard Tour set the start of the season in France and here is the second stop of the tour in the south alps at Isola 2000, a resort 1:30 hour away from the French Riviera. Not a lot of snow, just a tiny park, but the slopes are always fun to shred. We went there with a bunch of friends to cruise around and make this little edit for BangingBees while listening to Gloria Estefan !

Last week-end we went to the french glacier of Les 2 Alpes for the Kumi Yama with the BangingBees crew. The Kumi Yama is a japanese inspired contest, but we mostyl focus on the coolest part of the event : We connected with a few riders up there to shoot some shred action in the park and have a good time !

Our friend Jon Vital is the ex filmer from the Ero One movies. Since there’s no video this year, he was filming the Finnish crew KBR. He did a trip with them in Lapland for the end of the season and ended up in Wappulounas, a kind a finnish spring break. And Finland + party = lot of hot girls ! Here’s the video documenting the whole trip, specially made for BangingBees as one of our “Bangin’ on wax” series.

It’s been a while since i last posted on this blog, but i’m really proud to bring new content with the first documentary we produced with my new website BangingBees. It’s called Bangin’ on wax and this first episode is about Vincent Pages, a great french snowboarder who made the switch to a tatoo artist. It’s in english with french subtiltles , so enjoy !
