Manfrotto: An Evening To Imagine More

MANFROTTO_SAVETHEDATE_FINAL_8[1]

I’m going to try to make a long story as short as possible. A few weeks ago I got a call from a marketing company asking me to be a part of an event in New York City hosted by a leading company in camera, video, and lighting accessories, Manfrotto. As soon as I heard the date of the event, May 11th, I quickly realized that there was no way I could be apart of it seeing that it was the exact same time as SNOWBOARDER Magazine’s Superpark, our biggest event of the year. However, once I learned a little more about the Manfrotto deal, I knew it was an opportunity I couldn’t pass up. More info about the event after the jump.

Kings Of Leon

Ohhh Coachella… I honestly don’t even know where to start. First of all I didn’t even know if I was going until a few days before the event. Tickets had sold out within a week and after that they were very hard to come by unless you wanted to pay an arm and a leg to get one. Thankfully some friends at Vitamin Water pulled through for me and I was set. Going into this extravaganza I had no idea what to expect. All I knew was that it was going to be hot, there would be around 100,000 people and a ton of music.

More photos and the rest of my experience after the jump.

Jimmy Fontaine, Corey Smith, Lizzy Davis

Last night COMUNE hosted “Everything Went Black”, a collection of work from photographer Jimmy Fontaine. In case you don’t know of Jimmy, his roots branch back to shooting snowboarding… but today he is living out in New York City making a name for himself shooting fashion/portraits/lifestyles for publications such as Nylon, Elle, Spin, XXL…. you get the idea. It’s great to see someone who started in the snow industry, branch out and make a name for themselves on a different level. More photos from the night at COMUNE’s headquarter’s in Costa Mesa, CA after the jump.

See some of Jimmy’s work for yourself: jimmyfontaine.com
