Worst Movie Ever…But.

This has got to be some money laundry project. Definitely the worst winter related movie ever. Someone needs to bring back “Hot Dog” the movie, in some sort of new age snowboard flick, oh wait they did ( “Out Cold” ) and that sucked too!
I caught this horrific preview on my favorite local New York channel, NY1. The review was about to give this flick a Zero rating but then Neil Rosen pulled a late shuvit and gave it one and half Apples out of four, for the laugh factor! Worst rating I have seen on NY1 in a long time.
So there are so many flaws in this movie like wolves at a local resort, no patrol last sweep, no cell phones and the list goes on. But, I need to point out the most obvious one… the Snowboarder would have not gotten on the chairlift w/ a skier!

No More Ties… About to get real for Luis!

This past week SHUT Skater Luis Tolentino Ollied his way to a 1st place tie at the Grind For Life/DC High Ollie Challenge on February 3rd in Cali. He has been killing it with his spectacular pop for the last 5 years. Winning high Ollie comps at every one he shows up to. Not to mention the fact that this past year he tied the world record 44.5 inches held by Danny Wainwright at the 09 Tampa Pro. Be on the look out for him to Break his own record.

I caught this for the first time last night on the Sundance Channel. The best part was that my awesome surfer friend Jianca Lazarus is featured in the documentary. This is a must see for all New Yorkers, Thrill Seekers and Surfers!
“Making her directorial debut, filmmaker Carolina Cruz Santiago documents a community of surfers living in an unlikely island paradise: New York City. A fellow surfer and former native of Hawaii and California, Santiago wanted her film to show how a sport transcends place and allows its participants to connect to nature and each other.”- Sundance Channel. airing Sun. Feb. 7 at 7:10AM, Fri. Feb. 12 at 6:35PM and Mon. Feb. 15 at 9:05AM
