Shot this sneak peak of the US OPEN 2011 Rail Jam Setup from the AMEX chairlift at Stratton Mountain Vermont yesterday. It’s looking super next level. Kinda like something you would see in a video game. This set up is perfect for my buddy and local VT kid Forest Bailey. He placed 4th last year but my predictions after this past electric season is that he has the potential for a podium finish. Good Luck Fella, we are all rooting for you!

Enjoy the clip and stay tuned for some more action videos.

Vermont’s Finest, Forest Bailey is rocking some new goggles on the hill. DROP MFG has had there hands in the Glove industry since 1989 and now embarks on the Goggle market. If these guys can keep my hands warm for so many years, just think how your eyeballs will feel flying down the slopes. With the style, function and price in mind, DROP’s introductory line features six high-performance goggles offered in a variety of prints and colorways. Models include the ESPI, Laax and Helio for men, SPR MDL and Rocker for women, and Ripper for kids. Additionally, two special-edition “DROP Pure Inspiration” (DPI) series goggles will be offered from artists Andy Jenkins and Bigfoot.
DROP’s new goggle line will make its official debut at next week’s SIA Tradeshow in Denver (booth #2411). Thank you East Coast Snowboarding for the F.B. Support!

My goal for this winter is to ride every mountain in Vermont. I have snowboarded just about all of them for the past 15 years. I had the opportunity this past Monday to ride Bolton Valley. This mountain is super quaint and gnarly at the same time. No lift lines, frendly staff, great apre, and some of the best tree runs in the East Coast. I have 2 pics from my cell phone and some picture I shot with my regular camera. The one that uses film. I will show those to you soon.
