Wheels Of The Future is a new project by Will Burstein, owner of the very first RAW Shirt. Back when we had nothing but a little bit of  spare time on our hands to come up with ideas for our brand two nights per week, we used to meet up in Teele Square in Somerville. Some of those brain storm sessions turned into manny pad sessions on two old pallets and a sheet of plywood in the Powder House parking lot, and Will Burstein was there in the blistering cold for every single one of them. It’s great to see Will working on his own project, and it’s even better to read what the intellectual side of skateboarding has to say. After all of the highly analytical conversations we’ve had with will about skateboarding over the past 5 years, it’s very satisfying to see his thoughts in print.

Jason Jenkins recently released Log #28 on his site. The edit features clips from Boston that were filmed right before the cold weather finally arrived. Jason’s edits have been a good source of exposure for the Boston skateboard scene for a couple years at this point, and the technical aspects of the edits, although they started off solid, have gotten progressively better.

Jon Wolf has been a supporter of the RAW brand since 2006. He has contributed his filming and editing expertise to several of our projects over the past few years, most recently our video short featuring Dana Ericson. Just a few days ago, Jon was featured on the Mr. Dante Luna show and had the chance to explain his background, inspirations and future plans as a filmmaker. Jon’s latest work for RAW will be available very soon for all of our supporters.

Everyone who is in the Woburn, MA area on December 11th is invited to come skate with us at The Boardwalk from 7 pm until midnight. Admission at the park for the night will be one or more non-perishable food items that will be donated to a local charity and given to those in need during the holiday season.
