“Our beloved hometown was attacked by terrorists at the Boston Marathon just a few weeks ago. These horrible events have effected our entire city on many levels, and now we push to rise above and recover from this tragedy. In the spirit of helping our fellow Bostonians we have teamed up with other Boston skate/lifestyle shops and brands to organize a unified benefit event. This event is called “One Big Push” and will happen on Saturday night May 11th from 7-10PM, at The North Star bar near the Boston Garden.

We will be raising funds with a mega product raffle and a silent auction for artwork/limited pieces. 100% of proceeds raised from the raffle and auction will go to the victims of the bombings. A portion of the evening’s food and drink sales will be donated as well. The proceeds raised at this event will be split 50/50 between the One Fund Boston and the Bim Costello Recovery Fund. Bim is the brother of a key member of the Boston skate community, and was injured at the bombings.”

“Dana Ericson And Friends” is a compilation of footage from 2011 that, when structured as a finished product, becomes exactly what RAW has always strived to be as a brand. This project features a skateboarder whom we support and all of the skateboarders who support him. Dana has been a huge asset to our growth of our company, but, more importantly, he is a solid individual with a lot of talent and we are proud of the fact that people all over will see his skateboarding in this video short.

On September 22, 2012 from 10 am – 4 pm, RAW will be helping host a skateboarding event at the Canarsie Park along with Joe Comba and Grandison Taber from Common Ground. The event includes a park cleanup and several contests throughout the day with prizes from a number of brands that Common Ground supports. Check the event out if you are in the Brooklyn area this weekend.

The RAW And Villen Somerville Sluggers Collection will be released on Friday, November 11, 2011 At RAW Massachusetts. The event will be held at 15A Elm Street in Somerville from 5 pm until 9 pm and then move to a local bar after hours for those of age. We look forward to seeing you next Friday. This is the promo for the latest video in the works from Solstice of New Bedford, MA. Jay Vasconcellos has been a big supporter of RAW and we support Solstice in every way we can based on two things. One, the shop represents everything that is good about skateboarding and two, Jay V. represents the reason why people should want to skateboard forever because he’s never slowed it down (and he probably never will).
