World Snowboarding Championships Promo Edit

The Norwegians at the helm of the World Snowboard Championships coming up in Oslo are really going for it this year. From a pre party with Turbo Negro in New York City on November 18 to the event itself from February 10-19 2012 to the theme song commissioned by Andrew WK, the entire thing is going to be quite the spectacle. Check out the long play teaser above with Terje Haakonsen, the man behind it all, to ramp up your stoke for the event.

Even though Nyjah Huston keeps winning, the Chris Cole / Shane O’Neill rivalry continues to be a bright spot at Street League. This edit clearly demonstrates the key variance in Cole and O’Neill’s approach, Shane is having fun while Chris is putting in some work! They both kill it though, enjoy.

Arbor FACE/OFF Video

Arbor held their Nicholas Cage-inspired FACE/OFF comp at Bear Mountain on March 5 with Scotty Vine, Nick Visconti, Ian Sams, Sean Black, Brandon Hammid, Austin Young, Sammy Spiteri, Erik Leon and a huge field of more than 90 competitors. Check out the resulting edit above. Arbor FACE/OFF was dedicated to the memory of Miah Pebely.

Tampa Pro 2011 Finals Edit

As always, the Transworld crew held it down at the Tampa Pro with this rad edit of the finals. Dennis Busenitz brought home first place with Nyjah Huston and Torey Pudwill rounding out the top three.

For this year’s 17th Annual Tampa Pro, Skate Park of Tampa tapped Elm Company for these special edition trophy caps for the 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place winners in each category. Snowboarding 180 Olympic Charter

In a bold move that is sure to ruffle some of the elite old feathers of the Olympic Commission, Terje Haakonsen and a battalion of riders today signed The Snowboarding 180 Olympic Charter in Oslo, Norway. Basically it states that unless current non-FIS slopestyle events will count towards Olympic qualification, none of them will participate in the Olympics if Slopestyle gets voted in.
