You have to give it to ESPN. In a world where no one gives two shits to read about sports in a magazine anymore, they’ve managed to thrive by working the softcore porn angle. Taking a cue from Sports Illustrated’s Swimsuit Issue, ESPN launched “The Body” issue a couple years ago in the hopes that some celebrity skin would help them out. As we mentioned, Desillusion’s new short on Koston just dropped. It’s as beautiful and artfully paced as you’d expect from Desillusion and does seem to expound upon a guy who already has maximum media penetration, which, as they say, n’est pas un mince exploit. Enjoy.

New York newsprint surf magazine, The Usual has collaborated with Patagonia for its latest issue the “Bowery and Beyond” edition which will be released to coincide with Patagonia’s first East Coast surf store opening this Spring on the Bowery. One of our favorite magazine from back when magazines were cool was Mass Appeal. With a dead on grip on the pulse of NYC and the ripple effect influence NYC had on other cities plus a dedication to not giving a fuck, it was one mag we always looked forward to.
