Last night was the opening reception for the Shut x Impossible collaboration that joined skateboarding with Polaroid photography. Zered Bassett, Scott Caan, Eli Morgan Gesner, Chris Nieratko, Alex Olson, and Scott Oster all captured unique images that were then made into a limited edition series of six skateboard graphics by Shut. Atlantic City, New Jersey based brand ADO Lifestyle has just released their first skate decks. The brand, which strives to empower youth through positive messaging, even goes so far as to offer job resources, education opportunities and other tools. Currently they are getting their hands dirty helping dig their city out of post-Hurricane Sandy chaos. Give them some support.

5Boro continues its onslaught of dope graphics with the release of the Team Script Pro & Cruiser Series. The series flips some notable sports teams color ways for team riders Danny Falla, Dan Pensyl, Joe Tookmanian, Willy Akers and a team model. Check out the decks and cruisers which are now available at your local skateshop.

DQM and Cliche have teamed up for a collab that brings NYC and France together with a video and capsule collection. Peep Sammy Winter, Lucas Puig, Flo Mirtain, Kevin Bradley, Charles Collet, Keith Denley, Curtis Rapp, Lee Smith and Brian Delatorre in the edit above. SHUT has just dropped a rad new deck series for October. “Sunsets” consists of five decks in sizes 7.75, 8, 8.125, 8.25, 8.5, with graphics by Eli Gesner featuring full bleed sunsets laid under SHUT New York City skyline typography in five variations. Following their two part deck series with Andy Warhol, Alien Workshop has released a rad new series with the Keith Haring. Haring’s whimsical characters from the 1980’s go perfectly on a skateboard and the $55 price means you can hang em or skate em without feeling bad. Also available at DQM. More looks after the jump.

SHUT has just re-issued one of their raddest NYC-inspired decks, “New York Got It Runnin Through My Veins.” The caption pretty much says it all. Available in limited quantities now at SHUT Skate Mechanics.

Girl and Lakai are pleased to announce a collaboration with FTC that celebrates FTC’s roots as a tennis shop. The collaboration consists of multiple colorways of the Carroll 5 shoe, as well as a board and pocket tee. There will also be an event held at Larsen Park in S.F. on Saturday September 15th from 1-4pm with BBQ, tennis, basketball, and skateboarding with FTC, Lakai and Girl.
