Haven’t seen Volcom’s epic new video True To This? Or until someone else puts it on the internet. Either way, enjoy.

Red Bull Double Pipe | First Impressions Video

While we fully support the idea of forced progression Red Bull is putting forth with their Double Pipe event in Colorado, we have to admit that seeing it in living color is a bit underwhelming. Perhaps its because it draws immediate comparisons to skateboarding or the fact that other than a sketchy spine and a couple features, its just not really much different than a regular halfpipe, but it doesn’t seem as groundbreaking as the hype made it up to be. Still cool though.

USO 2014 LOUIE VITO TAT TheGoodLife! | Burton US Open Photos
Photographers Craig Wetherby and Dean Blotto Gray had arguably the best access anyone could have at the Burton US Open of Snowboarding in Vail last week. From private runs with Jake Burton to unreal shots of Terje Haakonsen and Danny Davis poaching the pipe, the pair caught what are easily the most iconic images of the event. That’s Louie Vito above showing off his TheGoodLife! tatoo by Oliver Peck, hit the jump to see a massive Haakon/Davis double method by Craig Wetherby. Full photo recap can be found at WeAreTheGoodLife.

Fresh off his historic gold medal halfpipe win at the Winter Olympics in Sochi, Iouri Podladtchikov headed straight to NYC to sit down with Timbo to talk about what it really means to have finally beaten Shaun White. Of course Timbo couldn’t resist asking the question “Why the F did you have to name that trick the YOLO flip?” IPod’s answer will definitely surprise you, maybe Russian/Swiss Shred-bots do have a sense of humor after all!
