Nixon keeps rolling out bangers in their rubber Player series, this time with the new Fluro in green. The Ecto-Cooler colored piece should go perfect with that Slimer costume you’ve been eyeing for Halloween this year. There are still two more Fluro Rubber Players coming down the pipe so stay tuned. More looks at the green after the jump.

Streetball Skateboards

Rad Collector - Streetball Skateboards
What to say about this? Apparently some random licensing company has convinced the under-appreciated stars of the streetball world that skateboards are a way they can make some money. It’s sad really, because streetballers are dope and their craft does mirror skateboarding in some ways: the tricks, the street aspect, even the videos. But that doesn’t make these Grayson “The Professor” Boucher decks much better than the California Girl skateboards we showed you a while back. Hell, they might even be the same company. DC Concept Store | Hanoi

Rad Collector - DC Concept Store Hanoi
Wow, we’ve come along way since MASH. Today DC announced that they’ve opened a concept store in the Vietnamese capital of Hanoi. It’s pretty amazing actually that only a few decades after one of the worst wars in history, skateboarding would play an active role in bringing the US and Vietnam back together. The Hanoi store is now DC’s third in the region following openings in Bali and Manila and will carry a full line of DC apparel and footwear although they will probably not be carrying the Norwegian DC video, Delta Charlie, for obvious reasons. More store pics after the jump.

Rad Collector - Nixon Art Mosh NYC
Nixon is throwing a family and friends art event in NYC on September 22. Art Mosh, as it’s being called, will almost certainly be less violent than the name suggests but should nevertheless feature some controlled chaos from the likes of Grant Ellis, Mike Carter, Craig Wetherby, Angela Boatwright, Ellen Stagg, Urban Junior, Rob Machado, Marlena Detrich, Dustin Ortiz, Keith Malloy, and many more. There will also be live music from the super fly jazz duo The Mattson Two. Full info after the jump.

etnies vs Homebase | Taco Tuesday NYC

Rad Collector - etnies vs Homebase Taco Tuesday
You might not think it, but in NY tacos are legal tender, especially for skateboarders. The reason for this is the utter scarcity of proper tacos. So while LA, Phoenix, even Tampa have a plethora of post session taco options, NYC has almost none. That’s why etnies has linked up with Homebase to throw down for Taco Tuesday tonight at Rewind in the east village. Expect every hungry skater in the city to line up for $2 tacos and cheap drinks served by Shut’s Michael Cohen. Best part, all proceeds go to the building of the Bethlehem Skate Park. That’s a triple win. Full info after the jump.
