First up from several interesting new offerings from Neff is their jump into watch wear. Keeping it mad affordable, the most expensive piece is only $30.
Our favorite new etnies model was back at Agenda today. The Lurker, and its slightly higher end LX cousin have some new colorways coming down the pipe for fall. Peep them after the jump.
Kicking off our coverage from Agenda in Anaheim is this dope collab from Radcollector fam, SHUT founder Rodney Smith. This look is a little early, the final version with a few subtle changes will ship to top tier Vans accounts and to the SHUT shop on Orchard this summer. More details after the jump.
After successfully cornering the market on skate tradeshows, Agenda is taking the next logical step and stepping up their involvement in snowboarding. This commercial starring Danny Kass and the Dingo illustrates Agenda’s promise to keep their show 100% kook-free. Agenda is in Anaheim, California on January 6th and 7th.
Everything is coming to NYC this summer, first Maloof, then those crazy Red Bull Jet Fighters and now the industry’s best tradeshow, Agenda. On July 19 and 20, Agenda will uproot from its last home of Huntington Beach, CA and post up at 190 Mercer Street in Soho. Analog, FRENDS, Neff, Mightly Healthy, Vans and a ton more rad brands will be there, we’ll keep you up to date for new announcements and of course in-depth show coverage.
Concluding our coverage of Agenda, Volkswagen gave Rad Collector an exclusive opportunity to push a 2010 Volkswagen Golf GTI from LA to Huntington Beach. A whip in it’s own class, between the turbo charged intercooler engine and the dual GPS displays, the GTI proved to be the perfect accoutrement to the show. Peep our on-the-spot shoot featuring Luis Tolentino along with Shut, Famous, Diamond, Mighty Healthy, Good Wood, DVS, and CtotheJL after the jump. Photography by Chris Lee.
Check out this sneak peek of the next generation collabo between New Balance and 686. They had this set up on the DL outside of the entrance to Agenda. We’ll get more on this from SIA in two weeks. The sneaker is above, peep the snowboard boot after the jump.
Deathwish had by far the raddest booth at Agenda, with pretty much their whole squad hanging around and kicking it for the duration of the show. They even had the Beagle’s girlfriend flopping around in a baby pool full of oil. Exactly. Product wise, they had all the sick new pro models. Peep more looks at Jim Greco, Lizard King, Brian Slash Hansen, Antwuan Dixon, and Erik Ellington’s new whips after the jump.
IPATH was also at Agenda with big tings agwon. It wasn’t immediately apparent from the first swoop by, but upon closer inspection, IPATH has taken a huge turn for 2010. Finally aligning with parent company Timberland’s production system after initially keeping the ties to Timbo mellow in the face of rampant rumors of an evil corporate takeover, it’s now obvious to all that having one of the top shoe manufacturers in the world on your team is a good thing. The first of several looks we are bringing you is the new Shearling. A winter staple, the Shearling has long been plagued by severe obesity and been a kick simply too big to rock with anything but a pair of loose camo’s. The new Shearling is taller and thinner, two qualities that are universally appealing. But the real story is that now that IPATH has access to everything Timberland, the Shearling is a full leather boot/shoe on an entire new level of buttery. Get one in your hands and you’ll see. More looks after the jump.
The other standout piece at the Oakley booth at Agenda were these transparent slime green Frogskins. Dubbed, “Anti Freeze,” there is a rumor that if you were tapped in the backcountry with a stalled out sled, you could melt these down for one last chance at getting the engine started. They will be sold out before they drop. Another look after the jump.
