
A bunch of news out of The Berrics today. First of all it’s their 2nd birthday today, which seems insane considering they are the biggest online force in skateboarding in the world. That didn’t take very long, damn. The second major thing is the announcement that The Berrics have forged a particularly unique partnership with Agenda Tradeshow. It what has to be seen as the death knell for ASR, Agenda and The Berrics are opening up an entire new section dedicated to skateboarding. In a super rad twist, they are taking it a step further and using this new partnership to allign with The Berrics already aggressive mom and pop shop branding program, Berrics Unified, by funding trips to Agenda for 61 Berrics Unified retailers. That is dedication to real skateboarding and should be a major force in combatting the corporate homogenization of the sport and culture.
