BurtonxBIONIC Bomber Jacket RGB Burton x Bionic Full Collection
We previewed Burton’s collab collection with Pharrel Williams’ Bionic yarn brand during our SIA coverage in February. Now the collection is available online and at select retailers. Consisting of a 3L jacket and pant, a 2L jacket, a down bomber, gloves, a backpack, and a rad trooper hat all made from sustainable yarn inspired from the fabrics of Bolivia, the collection seems like one that could have some legs although we aren’t super crazy about the color options for this year. Another sneak peek from Burton’s 2014 snow line comes in the form of this mini collection with Bionic Yarn. If you haven’t heard about it yet, Bionic, which is backed and repped by Pharrel (yes that Pharrel) is a sustainable yarn company that makes yarn that is up to 45% recycled and can be 400% stronger than traditional yarn. The basic collection includes a puffy, gloves, and an aviator style beanie that boast the clean design and good pattern use you’d expect from something Skateboard P is cosigning.
