Rad Collector - DC x Mike Shinoda x SURU
Whether you are a fan of his raps or not, it’s impossible to front on Mike Shinoda’s hustle. The kid has made incredible shit happen over the course of his career both musically and artistically. Falling into that category is his long term affiliation with DC. Now on his 4th “Remix Series” model, this latest Xander was designed completely by Shinoda and will be limited to 500 pairs sold exclusively at SURU in LA from November 20 thru December 20 before moving over to other top DC Life accounts. The Dyrdek Leather That Never Was

Rad Collector - DC Dyrdek Discontinued Leather
Sometimes the gear gods are not kind. Check out the original leather from the DC Dyrdek Collection. Super buttery, ill cut, printed lining and with the sickest rainbow skittle zips, this baby was originally set to retail for more that $600. That’s Dyrdek’s clout for you. They even made four custom colored ones for his Street Dreams premieres. Unfortunately, realistic sales forecasting prevailed and the jacket was re-formulated for it’s actual release. The cut is still good, but the leather has been downgraded and gone are those precious precious zips. Bummer. More looks at the last one on earth after the jump.

Rad Collector - DC King of Chicago Recap
In what can only be a major affront to the mean streets of Chicago, CJ Taborino from the decidedly nicer streets of Minneapolis, Minnesota took the DC King of Chicago am contest this weekend. Held at Roberto Clemente High School and featuring a large Marge $5,000 first place purse, the King of Chicago persevered through brick cold weather and a flip up to a 5 stair from a 2 to take his crown. Norman Woods and Julian Christianson rounded out the top three and grabbed a couple g’s apiece for the honor. More pics after the jump

DC Gymkhana 2.1 | Block vs Dyrdek

04 September 2009, 10.24 | Posted in cars, videos | No comments »

Someone must really love this Gymkhana thing, cause it keeps going longer than the energy bunny. Next up is version 2.1. This one is pretty funny though, with Rob Dyrdek getting in on the action in his exact replica mini-Gymkhana whip and further proving that he gets paid purely to have fun. You can’t hate on that though. If you still need more, hit up DC for some behind the scenes love.

Nitro Circus Season 2

Rad Collector - Nitro Circus Season 2
It may as well be DCTV. Following the heels of Rob Dyrdek getting the green light for season two of Fantasy Factory, Travis Pastrana and his crew have gotten another go around for Nitro Circus. They’ve even been bumped over to MTV’s “See You Thursday” programming, which actually sounds pretty lame (must be the cuts in marketing at Viacom), but should be a good look for the show nevertheless. DC athlete Jolene Van Vugt will also continue to Vugt shit up as Nitro Girl while Jim DeChamp, Andy Bell, Erik Roner, Street Bike Tommy, and new guy Special Greg, will also be in the mix. There’s bound to be a Ken Block cameo too. Not coincidentally, the first season of “Nitro Circus” is set to release on DVD on Tuesday, September 8th. Season two of “Nitro Circus” will premiere on Thursday, August 27th at 10 PM ET/PT. For more go here.
