Axion keeps making steady moves and had an even bigger presence at Agenda that included some apparel and team members like Manny Santiago and Javier Nunez. Their standout silhouette, the Mandela, has been expanded in both colors and fabrications for fall including the leather “Gucci” model above and a blue and grey canvas model in addition to the purple suede. There’s been rumors back and forth about this for years, but it is official, Axion is back in the game for Holiday 2009. A solid brand when they were poppin in the 90’s it will be interesting to see how they do this time around with C1RCA at the helm. They are keeping it pretty misty and only had one shoe on display at Agenda, the Mandela, and it was a pretty early sample but was definitely looking good.
