Multi-talented skateboarder, snowboarder, and artist Jake Lamagno is opening a new shop in NYC called The Hunt. A project with Steven Ditchkus, The Hunt will specialize in one of a kind vintage Americana items and oddities, meaning real human skulls, full taxidermied bears, as well as artwork, furniture, and anything else that passes Lamagno and Ditchkus’ curative smell test. Pro skaterboarder Dylan Reider has also joined on as a partner and all three will be at the NYC opening tonight at 72 Orchard Street in the LES which also features a joint exhibit by photographers Craig Wetherby and Jimmy Fontaine. OFWGKTA got the LES in a snarl yesterday for the opening of their pop up shop at Reed Space on Orchard Street. It took the cops several hours to realize what was going on and try to flex some muscle but release of “The OF Tape Vol 2″ and meet and greet with Tyler, Left Brain, Earl, Syd, Hodgy and more had kids stoked. Last Thursday WeSC teamed up with Skrillex for a secret show in NYC. Attendees received an exclusive invite instructing them to meet at the WeSC Concept Store in Soho at 10 pm sharp, where they were given blindfolds and loaded onto a bus and taken to an undisclosed location. The secret spot turned out to be W.I.P where all sorts of craze was going on inside. Hit the jump to see some of Brad Clarke’s flicks from the night.
