As part of our ongoing series with Hex, we attended the Evolve Electric Motorcycle launch event at Milk Studio’s penthouse last night. What better place to showcase the tech accessory than at a tech event. The electric scooters are pretty cool and every guest we spoke with said they would rock the Hex iPod watch band while cruising on one. We on the other hand want to ride the Tron bike that was there. Check out some pics from columnist Michael Cohen after the jump.

As part of our ongoing series with Hex, we recently headed over to our local skate shop SHUT Skate Mechanics on Orchard street in the LES to kick it with our man Michael Cohen. The best thing about SHUT is that you never know who might show up on any given day. On this particular day we had none other than Trevor aka Trouble Andrew and Taji Ameen in the house. Trouble had stopped by to lace up his new coffin deck with a set of Tracker Racetracks, 62mm Bennett Wheels and some Bones Reds while Taji was in the neighborhood shooting for Vice and his site Brad Clarke documented the day, check out his edit after the jump.

We took our Hex iPod watch bands and joined the thousands of other surf fans in the sand to watch Owen Wright and Kelly Slater battle it out for the $300,000 pay day. Before the finals we got a chance to kick it with some friends and spotted one of them rocking the new Wallet iPhone case. After the chill session we watched Owen Wright win the competition, but what’s even crazier is we ran into him at brunch the next day! Check out all the pics from Brad Clarke after the jump.
