Z-Flex x Jay Adams | Master Crafted

Skateboarding lost Jay Adams, one of it’s most original and iconic characters last August. Today his board company Z-Flex has announced the release of the final board he was working on before his death. The Jay Adams Master Crafted deck was designed completely by Adams with the help of “Professor” Paul Schmitt and will live as a tribute to a man who’s entire life was entwined with his passion to ride. Z-Flex Vintage Premium

To this day there isn’t a gnarlier dude in skateboarding than Duane Peters. As part of the rollout for the re-issue of four of their original fiberglass boards Z-Flex made a two part documentary that amply reminds us of that fact. All we can say is watch and learn. The Z-Flex Vintage Premium series includes The Original, Jay Adams, Warptail, and Jimmy Plumer and is limited to 300 of each shape. More looks after the jump.

We have a pretty novel collabo pack here with the Z-Flex x Uppercut Deluxe “Slick & Destroy” set. With a custom Z-Flex cruiser outfitted to hold a pair of combs and a jar of pommade, any discerning hipster skater can make sure his hair, beard, and moustache are in perfect form even after a vigorous push through Williamsburg or Silverlake.
