Last Saturday I spent the afternoon at the Fantasy Factory shooting photos and video (loving my 5D) of all the skaters and celebs at the SK8 4 Life Benefit. Find out what the foundation is all about and see some hot moves from Chris Cole, Sean Malto, and Torey Pudwill in this video. All the photos are here.

Vans OTW Collection & Launch Party

Vans unveiled its new OTW Collection last night with a swanky party in the penthouse of the 7th Street Lofts in downtown L.A. The shoes look amazing, the art was rad, and the RZA DJed. Can’t go wrong with that combo. More photos at skateboarding.com.

Brian Anderson Nike SB Blazer Mid

12 May 2010, 21.26 | Posted in Uncategorized | No comments »

My man Oliver Flores just hit me with an early drop of the new Brian Anderson Blazer mid from Nike SB. It’s part of its new Icon x Icon series, where an iconic pro customized an iconic Nike. Brian took the Blazer down to a midtop height and swapped out the vulcanized sole for a cupsole. The SF Giants colorway is obvious. His Nike ad in the July/Am Issue of TransWorld is epic—full backyard mini ramp jam. More photos here.

Joe Maloof Interview & MMC Vegas Launch Party

10 May 2010, 05.29 | Posted in Uncategorized | No comments »

I was lucky enough to be invited to the annual Las Vegas launch party for the Maloof Money Cup last weekend. They really took care of us—condo suite at Palms Place, VIP area by the pool with free beer, an amazing steak dinner at N9NE, and a VIP area with free beer again at Rain. Joe Maloof even sat down for a casual interview while we played the new EA Skate 3. Check the interview and photos right here.

Alex Olson: The Photographer

I’ve been a fan of Alex Olson’s work in front of the lens for a while, and now am a fan of his work behind it. I did a little interview with AO for skateboarding.com and he blessed me with a handful of snaps too. Check it out here.
