The Loose Behavior II art show that went down Saturday night in Oceanside, CA was a huge success. I posted a bunch of photos on the TWS site here. I got paired up with one of my favorite artists working in SoCal, Sketchy Tank. Future collabs and show with a lot of these artists are already being planned. Stoked!

Aika Collective is a new website/print shop started by my friend Flo where they basically collected images from the best photographers in skateboarding and make it really easy to buy high quality prints in many different sizes. I was super stoked when Flo asked if I wanted to be a part of it and have some of my photos in a collection. So click around and see what amazing images are on the site. Joey Shigeo that I work with at TransWorld wanted me to do a Still Life page in the mag with all party photos. I was down. Why not? As I was going through all my hard drives I uncovered some good ones. We only had room in print for a few so all the rest are online here. Hope you get a laugh.

My first time in South Africa, or Africa at all for that matter. The good folks at Kimberley Diamond Cup/World Cup Skateboarding flew me out. This place is amazing and I’d recommend anyone come visit. Got the first installment of a blog up here.

My buddy James Chang lives out in NYC and is an amazing photographer. I just stumbled upon his tumblr and it knocked my dick in the dirt! A lot of the shots are from a cross country trip he did with some friends last summer—we had some good times when they got to SD. Yeah, James! Keep killing it!

It’s rad to see homies that I connected years back continuing to do cool work together. Thanks guys! Makes me feel stoked to know all these talented people in the world I’ve met through skateboarding!

This is my third year making one of these. Always fun to look back and see the good times you had with real friends. Thanks everyone! 2013 is gonna rip!

For the third year in a row, my friends have been taking a motorcycle ride down to Puerto Nuevo (little beach town in Baja, famous for lobster) the day after Thanksgiving. I joined them this year, and like all trips down the coast into Baja, it was rad. Adrian Lopez has a post up on the Loser Machine site. He sums it up perfectly: “Its funny, I have to go south of the American border these days to feel a bit more free.”

My man Lexo The Great, always innovating in music, just dropped his new single, Roll Em Up. Produced by Digiwobble, it also features cuts from DJ Doc Swift.

My homies in San Diego that keep the torch lit, skating downtown every night just dropped an amazing new video. Filmed on the heralded Sony VX1000 by mastermind Ryan Alvarado, these dudes have incredible downtown footage at night laid over some of the dopest early 90s hip hop. Watch it and get sparked to skate tonight!
