My buddy Marcus Montenegro of Outpost Studios invited us for a last minute wall ride session. Good times were had by all! Skaters from KCDC, SHUT, Wampum and a grip local NYC skaters and spectators came thru to shred this amazing space and hang out. Thank you D.J. SMOKE L.E.S for killing it on the beats and getting busy on the wall. Check out my photos by clicking the “read more” to view all the action.

Great customer service is nearly impossible to find these days on the old world wide web however these guys are the exception to the norm. SaltCityOptics not only kills it with the customer service but also has an amazing curated selection of top brands and styles to select from in the eyewear industry. They have a fantastic in-house optometrist who works with you while you are online making your purchase and the prescription lens options are spot on. I went with some “By RetroSuperFuture” Frames and transition RX lens and I am stoked on my selection. After fulfilling my order they kept me up to par as to when I would be able to sport these dapper scripts. Thank you SaltCityOptics for making me cooler than I perceive myself!

This SLIMplistic wallet is slightly larger than a single credit card, sitting only an 1/8 of an inch thick and weighing just half an ounce. Don’t let it’s size fool you, though. It’s designed this stylish wallet to hold everything you’ll need – from as little as a single card to over 10 cards plus cash, receipts and more. The easy-access thumb slot makes swiping your most frequently used cards a breeze, and when not in use, the SLIMplistic leaves an almost unseen imprint in either your front or back pocket of your skinny skateboard pants. Be the first to get down with one through Kickstarter and support my homie Justin Heister with this amazing innovative product. FYI Justin is also Owner and Art Director of my favorite Skateboard Mag… Focus!

“Barn Yard Finish” Trade Show. I mean that in the most flattering way. When you go to some wine tastings they speak of this characteristic of the wine to have a “Barn Yard Finish” and this NYC 2012 Mens Capsule trade show tasted just like that. From the amazing heritage brands like Lightning Bolt, Tretorn, Penfield and Reyn Spooner. The show also features some rare finds from Kings County Salvage and Best Made Company and they are for sale at the show. And always great to see all the Made In The USA Products!

CrossLink vs. FrogSkins

OakleyRX.3
The Oakley CrossLink is a new category of ophthalmic frames. Oakley’s performance and innovation combined with a hug to your face comfort fit makes this frame a winning choice. These are my favorite everyday grind prescription glasses to date. The CrossLink allows me to go anywhere with unique style and durability. Easy detachable arms for changing up the look is a great new feature. These are not some old classic frames like my original childhood reading glasses. Which happen to be the original Frogskins…circa 84′ 85′ ish. Clearly the CrossLink wins by stepping up my game. Peep the jump for more looks.
