Spencer Fujimoto recently stopped by The Hub to showcase his brand-new handmade jewelry he’s producing through his new venture, El Señor New York. The inaugural collection is called “The Seven Wonders”, with each pure-gold pendant evoking a different piece of Fujimoto’s personal skate history, from the Brooklyn Banks to Philly’s iconic LOVE Park. EA Sports SSX Snowboarding on Dose

EA Sports is dropping the new SSX Snowboarding today, the gnarliest version of their shred game to date. This latest installment features Travis Rice and the “9 Deadly Descents,” a global shred mission that includes volcanoes, nuclear power plants, and even squirrel suits. Tim Brodhagen interviewed EA’s Creative Director Todd Batty about what went into making the game in the newest episode of Dose on Network A. The show also looks at Steve Rodriguez’s game changing renovation of Chinatown’s Coleman Park.

SBC Spring 2011 Cover Shot Video

SBC Skateboard Magazine launched a Canadian Invasion into NYC for their Spring 2011 issue and came back with an insane cover shot of Josh Clark’s fakie flip into the New York Supreme Court bank. The above video contains Clark’s commentary on getting the shot.

Go Skate the Brooklyn Banks Right Now!

It’s true, today is the last day to skate the infamous Brooklyn Banks for who knows how long. That means its time to stop whatever you are doing and go there right now, if enough people show up maybe they won’t be able to really shut it down! At the beginning of last month, we told you about the super rad Converse Fix to Ride event popping off in Rio to benefit the famous Arpoador Bowl. Well it went off huge and the Brasilian skate program Skate Paradise has put together a sick segment about the day. Most of it is in Portuguese but Rune Glifberg’s parts are all in English so you should be able to follow along well enough.

Rad Collector - Converse Fix To Ride Arpoador
One of the world’s raddest, yet long suffering bowls, is on the verge of a comeback. Following an organic movement that included petitions and other campaigning, Arpoador bowl overlooking Ipanema beach is getting a helping hand from Converse. They are hosting the Fix to Ride competition on September 12 and 13 in an effort to restore the bowl to it’s former glory. After a hefty investment by Converse, 40 invited skaters will get down on a jam format contest that should prove to be the first of many more to come at this resurrected spot.
