Nike Snowboarding Goes Live | Stash Collaboration

26 September 2008, 01.01 | Posted in Fashion, snowboarding | 9 comments »

We have been waiting for it ever since rumors started coming around last year. This season Nike is finally introducing their own snowboarding brand – Nike Snowboarding. Applying the same principals to snowboarding that have made them successful in the skateboarding world in recent years, Nike introduces the Zoom Force 1 Boot in a variety of color and material options for both men and women. Along the boots they also introduce apparel, for the moment consisting of pants and jackets. Let’s see if we will eventually also be seeing hard goods from them.

The launch is being celebrated with a collaboration with artist Stash. He designed a Zoom Force 1 boot and matching jacket, both featuring the iconic spray can cap design by the artist.

After the jump you can have a more detailed look at the products that Stash designed, as well as the first inline product that is hitting stores as we speak.

Many more images after the jump.

Nike Snowboarding Toy Boots

24 September 2008, 12.58 | Posted in snowboarding | 1 comment »

Promotional giveaways for the first series of Nike Snowboarding boots coming this fall, these toys indicate how Nike might tie its heritage into a new market. Stash’s trademark caps are their, as are some nods to popular AF1 models. Would make a nice little collectible if you can find some.

We are Holiday 2007/08 by Burton

t-shirts and snowboards
A couple of days ago we showed you some new t-shirts by Burton, with an animal photoprint on them. We found them quite unusual, and besides the fact that they were a little kitsch and not really something we would expect from Burton, we took a closer look to find out what this series was all about. The series of t-shirts comes from We are by Burton.
The “We are” series is led by the Burton Pros Gig! Rüf, Romain de Marchi, JP Solberg and Danny Davis. Each t-shirt also has a matching board. Riding a board with such an animal picture on it, is actually quite funny.

O’Neill H4 Campack

26 November 2007, 12.41 | Posted in snowboarding | No comments »

The O’Neill H4 Campack is designed to be used as a fully functional snowboard backpack with the addition of an integrated portable media player and external camera lens.

With ease-of-use lying at the heart of the H4 Campack, the wearer is able to start and stop recording almost effortlessly by pressing a large button positioned on the left shoulder strap. There is most probably no better way to film freestyle and freeride snowboarding action.

The portable media player is positioned in the backpack’s top pocket safely stored between protective padding. The media player records all the action captured by the goggle strap or helmet mounted camera lens. For instant review on the mountain slope, open the top pocket and check your action via the media player’s screen. For sharing or Internet upload, take out the SD card which is used for video storage and copy the videos to a laptop.
Definitely a pretty nice idea and actually something that makes sense. The O’Neill H4 Campack will soon be available at the Colette online store.
More pics after the jump.
