Air & Style Beijing Recap

The Shaun White and Oakley Air & Style wrapped in Beijing, China this weekend with the $100,000 going to young Canuck contest killer Sebastian Toutant. Toots grabbed the cash, the ring of glory and 1,000 TTR points after stomping a cab 12 double cork that beat out euros Seppe Smits and Elias Elhardt who took second and third respectively. Woodward Beijing Opens This Weekend

The venerable skate institution Camp Woodward is set to open its first ever outpost abroad this weekend in Beijing, China of all places. Turns out Beijing is one of the most skateable cities in the world with plazas galore and an immense curiosity about the sport. A massive contingent of skateboarders, press, and industry heads are currently landing in Bejing as we speak for the occasion and the first batch, Radcollector included, toured the city a bit today. Above is Ryan Sheckler, Billy Rohan, Neal Hendrix, David Loy, camp owner Gary Ream and more soaking it up in Tiananmen Square before the big opening with Tony Hawk and more. Japanese BMX Jerseys For Beijing ’08 By WTAPS

That BMX is now an official discipline in the 2008 Olympic Games in Beijing, you should know at least since we launched our Micheal Lau Interview, where the HongKong based artist talks about his role in designing the Chinese BMX team jerseys.
Today we can show you the Japanese jerseys, which were also designed by somebody that should be quite familiar to you – Tet from WTAPS. WTAPS designed the jersey and it is made by Nike.
