Woodward Beijing Opens This Weekend

The venerable skate institution Camp Woodward is set to open its first ever outpost abroad this weekend in Beijing, China of all places. Turns out Beijing is one of the most skateable cities in the world with plazas galore and an immense curiosity about the sport. A massive contingent of skateboarders, press, and industry heads are currently landing in Bejing as we speak for the occasion and the first batch, Radcollector included, toured the city a bit today. Above is Ryan Sheckler, Billy Rohan, Neal Hendrix, David Loy, camp owner Gary Ream and more soaking it up in Tiananmen Square before the big opening with Tony Hawk and more. In more NYC news, Bill Rohan’s Open Road Rooftop was featured recently by the Japanese TV network NHK for a segment on hot shit in the city. This behind the scenes video is pretty hilarious.
