The Gonz x Curtis Kulig Multimedia Takeover

We’re not sure how to accurately describe this set of four new video pieces by Mark Gonzales other than to say they’re out there. What is rad is that RC fam Curtis Kulig has become somewhat of a muse for the Gonz, which is one crazy bucket list item to scratch off. Vans had one of their most anticipated releases of the year last week with the Vans x Love Me collection by Curtis Kulig. In the new dose Tim Brodhagen speaks to his old friend Curtis about the evolution of Love Me from a simple tag to a global brand and what it’s like to collaborate with an iconic brand like vans. He also shows off some classic polaroids including Harry Jumonji, Chad Muska, Eli Reed, Craig Wetherby and more.

Vans x Love Me

Vans has teamed up with “Love Me” artist Curtis Kulig for a 3 shoe collab of Vans Classics for Valentines day. A red Authentic with an all over embroidered “Love Me”, a checkerboard Slip-On with paint splatter design, and oversize embroidered “Love Me” SK8-Hi Slim, a women’s specific style. Look for these to drop next month along with bicoastal events in celebration of this special collaboration. More looks after the jump.

LA bred, NYC based photographer Curtis Kulig has just dropped a complete redesign of his photography site. Kulig who also creates art under the name Love Me has an extensive portfolio of photographs featuring the likes of Steve Olson, Chad Muska, Eli Reed and more that deftly capture the current era of skateboarding and art. Living Proof Magazine has dropped its newest piece in its Artist Alliance series, the “Love Me” deck from Curtis Kulig. The limited edition deck features the tag “Love Me NYC” and a multitude of faces from Curtis’ photographs. Faces on the deck include Harry Jumonji, Chad Muska, Craig Wetherby, Pat Conlon, Alex Corporan, Mike D, and Ricky Powell just to name a few. The deck is now available at the Living Proof Magazine Web Store and will be at Supreme NYC soon. More looks after the jump.
