As part of the huge “Art in the Streets” show happening at MOCA comes this rad skate video retrospective tonight hosted by Patrick O’Dell. He’ll be showing classics like Video Days and Bones Brigade Video Show and then discussing them with Spike Jonze, Stacy Peralta, Lance Mountain, Ed Templeton, Greg Hunt, Ty Evans, Rick Howard, Aaron Meza and Tobin Yelland. Here’s another dope video release from FTC, this time a mini doc about OG skate photographer Ken Goto, who just had an art show in San Francisco this past weekend. “Extended Vacation” features a wide range of Goto’s works both pure and augmented by the likes of Ed Templeton, Lance Mountain, and more. Active has their own version of “Cribs” that explores the house of Ed Templeton. Not the opulent palace you’d expect from a skate art god, his home is more of a a skate archive with nooks of creativity around every turn. One surprising fact, Templeton has a mean arsenal of weaponry.

Emerica is dropping a new slip on style this January with long time family member Ed Templeton called the Tempster. The black version (above) features a sublimated print of Ed’s first shoe while the Brown and Blue version features his eye art. More looks after the jump.

Ed Templeton The Cemetery of Reason Video

Templeton is on a tear right now. Check out this rad video from the April 2 opening of his latest art show, “The Cemetery of Reason,” at S.M.A.K. in Ghent, Belgium. With 2000 people on opening night alone, this very well may be his biggest show to date. “The Cemetery of Reason” will show through June 13.
