Whether it’s Love Park, the Brooklyn Banks, or South Bank, its seems that the world’s raddest urban skate oases are constantly under attack by the powers of “progress.” The ultimate irony is that the loss of these places leads to the devolution of a city and the decline of creative urban culture. Supra London Pack

With the London Olympics right around the corner, Supra has unveiled their take on a commerative pack for the games. Chrome | City Series: London

San Francisco based cycle accessory brand Chrome has introduced the limited edition City Series with an ode to London. The London Series Citizen and Yalta are made from double-coated technical herringbone tweed and nubuck leather with Victorian-inspired print liner by Flavor Paper and are “A Refined Exterior Meets Our Tribute Inspired by All Things Punk, Ale and Tweed.”

Supreme London Opening

Supreme opened in London yesterday proving that despite all the protests, riots, and general leanings toward anarchy in that city, dudes in London love to wait in lines as much as their counterparts in NYC and Tokyo. Can’t really blame them though, Supreme’s shit is fresh. Via FreshnGood.

Oakley Frogskin Chandelier

Taking it up a notch from their counterpart in NYC, the re-opening of the Oakley Flagship store in London tomorrow will feature a massive chandelier made out of 4000 pairs of Frogskins and illuminated by changing colored lights. The Convent Garden store also features an 800 lb metallic angel with a 25 foot wing span as well a custom lab and complete Oakley product line. Check out some more looks after the jump.

For their 4th issue, Grey Skateboard Magazine put together this dope short film with Henry Edwards-Wood documenting “the movements of London’s skateboarders, getting their kicks while the city sleeps.” Featuring Joey Pressey, Lucien Clarke, Scott Howes, Nick Jensen, Boots, Jin Shimizu, Snowy, Shaun Currie, Ash Hall, David Yap, Karim Bahktaoui, Will Harmon, Gustav Eden, Arran Gregory, John Tanner, Harry Lintell, Shaun Witherup, Neil Smith and Casper Brooker. Altamont x Emerica x Slam City

Its about to get poppin in London this spring with the Slam City crew doing a complete overhaul of their pop-up in collaboration with Altamont and Emerica. Details are still on the low, but the Altamont x Emerica x Slam City shop will be running programs and product launches from mid-March through January and will be the deepest collection of both brand’s in all of Europe. We’ll have more info as we get it.
