TheGoodLife! | Burton US Open Photos

17 March 2014, 16.42 | Posted in photography, snowboarding | 2 comments »

Photographers Craig Wetherby and Dean Blotto Gray had arguably the best access anyone could have at the Burton US Open of Snowboarding in Vail last week. From private runs with Jake Burton to unreal shots of Terje Haakonsen and Danny Davis poaching the pipe, the pair caught what are easily the most iconic images of the event. That’s Louie Vito above showing off his TheGoodLife! tatoo by Oliver Peck, hit the jump to see a massive Haakon/Davis double method by Craig Wetherby. Full photo recap can be found at WeAreTheGoodLife.

Forget the fashion shows and the lame reality TV stars, the real hot ticket during New York Fashion Week was TheGoodLife! x DIamond Supply’s BlessAndSee party at the Box. With a gang of pro shreds, hot girls, a performance from American Apparel model Kacy Hill, and some shit too crazy to talk about, there was no where better to be. TheGoodLife! x Sailor Jerry Hideout Aspen 2014

04 February 2014, 15.30 | Posted in Events, snowboarding | 1 comment »

For the second year in a row the most fun to be had in Aspen during winter X Games was at the TheGoodLife! x Sailor Jerry Hideout. Situated at a secret ship shaped home tucked into the mountainside, TheGoodLife! x Sailor Jerry Hideout was where everyone from Halldor and Eiki Helgason, to Mason Aguirre, to Elena Hight, Gabi Viteri, and Jamie Anderson, to surfers Chippa Wilson and Kelia Moniz, and finally half pipe champs Greg Bretz, Louie Vito, and Danny Davis went once X Games duties were through. Why? Because with tattoos by the legendary Oliver Peck, cuts and shaves by Frank’s Chop Shop, music by Roofeeo and enough Sailor Jerry cocktails to supply a mixology convention, it was the perfect oasis for any hard working X athlete. For complete behind the scenes photos by Laura Austin including Danny’s classic ass tat and Louie’s TheGoodLife! tattoo head over to WeAreTheGoodLife.
